Our research publications track record may be examined here.
This is our flagship publication. If you’re like many others who have been lured by marketing firms which focus more on copyediting hype, exaggerated claims, empty promises and even pure lies, we want to inform you that you have finally found the "real deal" with us.
We are not a marketing company disguised as a research firm unlike what you often see today. We do not even spend a single penny towards marketing. We are a world class investment research firm and our track record is arguably the best in the world since 2006. Our research department is headed by one of the world's leading investment minds, Mike Stathis.
We hate to even call our publications “investment newsletters” because the industry has developed such a bad (although well-deserved) reputation. We don’t sell fear and we don’t prey on greed.
The Intelligent Investor arms investors with a very comprehensive and insightful analysis of the global economy, with a focus on the U.S. with the objective of explaining our analysis and forecast of each of the market indexes and ETFs covered in this publication.
Each monthly issue of the Intelligent Investor is typically published in written and video format. The written format is restricted to the Securities Analysis section (part 1 of the Intelligent Investor). This report typically contains 10 to 12 securities with a single page devoted to each security. On occassion, we will substitute the written report for a webinar or recorded video presentation.
The second portion (part 2) is video presentation of our market forecasting research for the big 3 emerging markets (China, India and Brazil) and the US market (Dow, S&P500 and Nasdaq).
The Intelligent Investor includes monthly market analysis and forecasts for the Dow Jones Industrial Average, S&P 500, Nasdaq, the Chinese, Indian and Brazilian stock markets (through analysis of the large cap ETFs).
In addition to a detailed analysis and forecast of each market index/ETF, this research publication also discusses valuations, risk considerations and provides general guidance for portfolio management. This portion of the Intelligent Investor is also included in the Market Forecaster.
The Intelligent Investor provides a variety of securities in the form of a recommended list from growth to income. The analysis for each security in this list is updated monthly.
Finally, each issue contains value insights Mike has learned in his years as a Wall Street professional, trader, adviser to hedge funds, pension plans, merchant banker, venture capitalist and investment strategist.
Although the goal of this research publication is to provide subscribers with top-tier investment guidance and insight, it is also focused on educating subscribers so that they become sophisticated investors. Thus, in addition to receive world-class analysis and forecasting in both the U.S. and emerging markets, you will also learn how to manage risk, determine their asset allocation, and other valuable tasks involved with the investment process.
You shouldn’t think of this publication as an investment newsletter. You should think of it as an ongoing educational program that provides state-of-the-artist insights from one of the world's most creative and accomplished investment minds.
You should note that this publication is not for everyone. Only the most serious and committed investors should subscribe to the Intelligent Investor because each issue is long, very detailed and requires you to do some of your own legwork. This is the cost of becoming a sound and successful investor.
If you want to have buy and sell alerts sent to you or if you want some red and green light indicators, this publication is not for you. We wish you the best of luck if you choose that route because it's a losing game.
But if you want to become an independent thinker and great investor, all you need to do is subscribe and be prepared to put in some work. It is important to note that we are not financial advisers and we do not provide financial advice. We issue general recommendations which should be customized based on each individual's investment suitability, skill level and other variables outside of our control.
Finally, you must also be patient and expect to put in several years of effort. There is no other route to becoming a great investor.
The Intelligent Investor is released monthly in two parts.
Part 1 of each monthly Intelligent Investor issue includes (usually) a written report that goes over the Recommended Securities list in order to provide guidance. On occassion this report will be published either in video format or delivered as a live webinar which will be recorded for later review.
Part 2 of each monthly Intelligent Investor issue is usually published in video format, although on occassion it will be delivered via live webinars which will be recorded for later review as well as for those who could not attend the live webinar.
The primary component of Part 2 is the market forecasting component of the research. The market forecasting component covers the U.S. stock market (Dow Jones Industrial Average, S&P 500 Index and NASDAQ).
It also provides forecasts for three major emerging markets (China, India and Brazil).
Part 2 of the Intelligent Investor is identical to the entire content of the Market Forecaster.
Keep in mind that if you subscribe to the Intelligent Investor, you will have access to research headed by one of the leading investment minds in the world. We doprovide generic guidance, but we do not provide personalized financial advice. At the end of the day, it is up to each subscriber to determine how to best utilize our research.
Below is an example of some excerpts illustrating our market forecasting research.
