Apex Venture Advisors (AVA) is the parent firm of AVA Investment Analytics focused on the private markets.

Mike Stathis serves as the Managing Principal of Apex Venture Advisors (AVA), a business and investment intelligence firm consulting venture firms, corporations, private equity funds and hedge funds. AVA consists of three divisions: private markets, a public markets and publishing.

Mike’s work in the private markets includes valuation analysis, deal structuring and business strategy. His technology focus is in biopharmaceuticals, healthcare information technology and telemedicine. Mike has provided private and public company valuation and securities analysis to hedge fund managers, venture capital firms and private equity firms.

In the public markets Mike advises mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity funds, corporate treasury departments, endowments, financial advisers and financial firms as the Chief Investment & Trading Strategist of AVA Investment Analytics. He also provides various levels of assistance to retail investors but does not provide personalized financial advice. He provides clients with proprietary investment and trading strategies, valuation analysis, market forecasting, risk management and distressed securities analysis.

Mike has advised numerous multibillion-dollar hedge funds, venture capital firms, private equity funds, mutual funds, pension plans and Fortune 500 corporations.  He has advised countless entrepreneurs, startup, early and middle stage companies. He has also structured and negotiated financing terms for entrepreneurs seeking venture capital. Finally, he has crafted business strategy for several business spin outs, analyzed and written hundreds of business plans for entrepreneurs, Fortune 500 corporations and venture capital firms.

As the only investment expert who predicted the 2008 financial crisis in detail, as documented in the 2006 release of America’s Financial Apocalypse and the 2007 release of Cashing in on the Real Estate Bubble, Mike served as a valuable source of insight helping investors navigate the real estate and banking crisis.

As well, Mike accurately identified the exact bottom in the US stock market in March 2009 when he advised to begin buying stocks. Although he remained bullish on the stock market since that period, he has also accurately forecast most of the major market selloffs as well as advising when to reenter the selloff with stunning accuracy. As a result of his research track record, Mike has become one of the world's most accurate market forecasters. The accuracy of his qualitative research, securities trading guidance and stock market forecasts has positioned him as one of America’s most accurate, insightful and creative financial experts.

Despite having been blacklisted by the publishing industry, Mike has written numerous books which remain as valuable today as when first released. His books have also been used in business schools as a required text for completion of the MBA program.

His second book, America's Financial Apocalypse remains as one of the most accurate and valuable investment books ever written, having predicted the details of the 2008 financial crisis as well as longstanding issues faced by the United States long before anyone else such as the problems with free trade, China's theft of intellectual property, the wealth and income disparity, damaging impact of illegal immigration, the pension crisis, America's healthcare crisis and much more.

His fourth book, The Wall Street Investment Bible has been called the single best investment book by several industry professionals. This book lays out a framework for understanding investments and the investment process. In this book, Mike accurately predicted numerous companies that would eventually file for bankruptcy as well as companies that would end up as market leaders such as Netflix (NFLX) which he recommended at an adjusted share price of less than $3 per share. And he has remained bullish on Netflix ever since.

Prior to Apex Advisors, Mike worked for UBS and Bear Stearns in asset management and merchant banking where he dealt with institutional investors, including corporate treasury departments and pension funds.
